Who would think that after 10 years of on and on working on something, that you could still want to work on it, much less have future ambitions for this audacious project… but I do!

I’d love to design, from scratch my own dark WordPress theme. For the moment I’m content with what I have, which is a heavily modified version of an existing layout. But to be creative and original AND design something that others might want to use as well is a goal.

At one point, I wanted to move away from the WordPress CMS, blog type layout, but over time I’ve come to realize that I have always had a blog, and always will. And the WordPress system is flexible enough to be everything I need for all the other aspects of my site, including photos and portfolios and stuff.

Also on my short list of ambitious projects is to design some custom plug-ins for the site. But for the life of me, I can’t find anything that hasn’t already been done… and better than I myself might have been able to do. So I’ll probably shelve that idea for a while.
