WorldLee

 WorldLee 5.0 (Codename: Enlightened) was not built in a day. It is, in no uncertain terms, the culmination of over a decades worth of hard work, procrastination, and love. Anything that takes this long to create, that has gone through as many revisions as this site has over the last 12 years begs the question: What is WorldLee, and why has it been so important to me.

The idea of WorldLee began before the era of social networks like MySpace and Facebook. It was the little corner of the Internet that I could call my own. Where I could dare to express myself, my opinions, and my life to other and invite open and honest criticism. It was also a way for me to keep my web design skills up to date.

As often happens with me, I continuously make revisions to the site during breaks and holidays. Sometimes I make WorldLee bigger, sometimes smaller, but always keeping the core principles of an openness and honesty (within the carefully constructed confines of polite society). Building WorldLee has been a remarkable experience for me to create again and again. Its many incarnations have given me the opportunity to learn about myself and grow as a person. I hope you enjoy all the hard work that I have put into this, and remember to check back often as this site, like my life, is always changing.
